Hello!

It is lovely to have you here. This is the first article of hopefully many, it has been a long time coming. We want to provide you with evidence-based material that is useful and translatable for everyday life. We have wanted to share with you our unique practice, what we have to offer, and tips and tricks around everything Wholism.

Who are we?

Well that may be a philosophical question for your inner wonderland caterpillar, a question we, ourselves, may not even know to the fullest. We help our clients discover themselves as we aim to discover who we are as well. It is an ongoing life process, you see. As a group of mental health practitioners, we strive to have an infinite definition of ourselves, always changing, never stagnant in personal growth.

We transitioned into private practice because we wanted to make a difference, our practice specialties and skills strive to break down the walls of institutionalized theory and practice methods. We have a unique practice which focuses on Wholism—the parts of our self (spirit, emotions, mind, and body) and the interconnectedness of our worlds, in relation to the systems we live in.

Wholistic Counselling Services started small… As referred to above: “we” equals only two of us, but that will never be the extent of “us”. We are two parts among many, our clients, our community partners, our relationships, the parents, and children of the people we help, our own families and friends all become the “we” because our interconnected selves are at the forefront of our worldviews, creating our values and morals. Our working team is growing, and our individual voices become one. Wholism.

We hope this article was helpful in learning more about Wholistic Counselling Services and what we have to offer. If you connect with our practice approach, have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact us at wholistic.counselling.services@gmail.com.
