Behaviour Therapist, Child Life Specialist, Bachelor in Child Psychology

Meet Mira!

Mira graduated with a Bachelor in Child Psychology and has a Child Life Specialist Certificate. She has extensive experience with clients on the Autism Spectrum. Mira has experience working as a Behaviour Therapist at a preschool for children with Autism and behaviours. Having experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Mira has specialized her knowledge and practice to working with children aged 3-12 years old, who struggle with behaviours. She supports her clients in areas of foundational life skills, activities of daily living, functional play, conflict resolution, communication, coping, and regulation.

Mira creates a nurturing environment to help empower clients on their journey of healing, to help clients achieve their fullest potential. Mira uses an individualized approach to understanding each client’s needs while helping to uncover their full potential through self-discovery. Using an approach that is client-focused, she works with families, assisting members in understanding and supporting children through all walks of life. Mira’s value propositions lie in the wholistic approach, helping individuals with their mental, emotional, physical/behavioural and spiritual selves. By facilitating self-awareness, growth mindset, and value-driven living, she incorporates inner-expression through play, creativity, and curiosity.

“Behaviour isn’t ‘good‘ or ‘bad‘. Rather, it is a reaction based on the circumstances and context of each, we must identify and address the root cause, not just the outward symptoms.”
