Kenna Robb
BSW, CYC, MSW Intern

Meet Kenna, (pronouns: she/her). Kenna is a Anishinaabe and Ojibwe woman from the Chatham-Kent area. She is a daughter, a granddaughter, an auntie, a helper, and a healer. She obtained an advanced diploma in Child and Youth Care (CYC) from St. Clair College, a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Windsor and is currently wrapping up her Master of Social Work (MSW) by completing her internship here. Kenna has experience working with youth ages 4-25, families, adults, and seniors. She has spent some time in various settings, braiding Indigenous knowledge into practice, Kenna’s goals in her career are to work with FNIM and non-FNIM populations.

During her internship, Kenna’s goal is to refine her micro counselling skills, learn different techniques, and tools that are connected to Indigenous knowledge and Wholism. Kenna is hoping to continue building connections with the community, learning from diverse teams, and further strengthening her ability to adapt her approaches based individual’s goals and needs. She comes with a desire to learn and grow as a social worker and is looking forward to the work she will do here. 

KENNA’S FREE TIME
In her free time, Kenna enjoys a simple and quiet life. She enjoys reading, gardening, connecting with nature, cooking, and golf. Kenna also likes finding new ways to engage her body that are not running. She loves spending time with family, she is a lover of cats – especially her cat Annie!
