Meet Alex!
Alex obtained her Bachelor and Masters in social work with a minor in Psychology at the University of Windsor and Wilfred Laurier University for a Certificate Program in CBT for Anxiety Disorders and Depression. She has experience working with individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, crisis response, and serious mental illness in hospital settings and acute crisis response in the community.
Alex is skilled in various therapeutic approaches and committed to using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices, she focuses on helping clients overcome debilitating thoughts and attitudes to live fuller lives. Passionate about
building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and taking a wholistic approach, she creates a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Alex believes in a personalized approach to mental
health and is willing to accompany clients on their journey to better health and contentment.
She has been called to specialize her practice, serving adult individuals aged sixteen and older, with a focus on CBT, EFT, and others, using a Wholistic Approach.
ALEX’S FREE TIME
In her free time, Alex enjoys playing guitar, reading, and writing. She also enjoys being active- walking her dog Bruce, hiking, biking, and going on nature walks.
